Aero Center Executive Terminal at FW Int’l Airport

This was a project that had Elevatus Architecture, working with Design-Builder, The Hagerman Group. An FBO facility, it replaces what was a 40-year-old landlocked structure that had become an impediment to the future growth of the Fort Wayne International Commercial Terminal. With its high-end finishes and expansive spaces, the Aero Center caters specifically to executive fliers, crew, and pilots.

It sits on the West Ramp, near the intersection of the airport’s two runways, and is connected to one of three post-WWII hangars that were necessary for access.

Housed within the center are private office spaces, technologically enhanced conference rooms available for tenant use, elaborate pilot and crew support spaces, and a lobby/concourse replete with the kind finishing touches executive travelers expect. Multiple tenant spaces fill out the overall footprint of the building, accommodating a variety air-travel-related businesses as well as adjacent hangar lessees.
