Sturges Property Group

Fort Wayne, Indiana

  • Businesses and Non-Profits

As the desire and interest continues to grow for more corporations to locate to downtown Fort Wayne, those of us that have never left have always felt a sense of comfort and commitment. Sturges Property Group was no different in their quest to grow and accommodate that growth through a tenant improvement space in the 202 Metro Building. In fact, the entire scope of the project was to renovate and address the entire building. Fort Wayne has continued to experience a phenomenal growth and development movement in its downtown core and this building’s location in the heart called for much improvement.

The Sturges Property Group move to the fifth floor of their current building gave them an open footprint to begin working on various design iterations and thoughts to transform their office space. From that, challenges were overcome, and focus could be put on the interior architecture and high-level construction finishes. After a substantial year of growth and a complete overhaul of the entire building, Sturges wanted their new space to speak the current language in modern and amenity-based office space and continue the growth as the premier partner in full service commercial real estate.

Sturges Property Group has been a staple in the Fort Wayne area since 1975 and they will continue their impact on the commercial real estate market.

"Elevatus not only understands the higher education market place, they understand our university needs comprehensively. They are able to convert learning modalities and educational pedagogies into physical, durable locations within our buildings that serve faculties and students in an excellent fashion.”

Arthur E. Snyder, Ed.D.

Past President, Indiana Tech

"The level of service that Fort Wayne Community Schools received during the construction of New Tech Academy was superb. The architects were innovative and took the time to truly understand the different learning modalities that we wanted. They always gave close attention to details, schedule, and construction costs."

Liz Bryan

Director, New Tech Academy Wayne High School

"Sanilac County has continuously relied on Elevatus for their expertise and dedication to quality of service, and I have actively worked with them in the planning stages of our renovation and jail expansion project. I give my full recommendation for Elevatus for design and construction on building projects."

Garry M. Biniecki

Sheriff, Sanilac County

"I want to express my appreciation to the customer-oriented Elevatus for a job well done on our penitentiary at Terre Haute. Their incorporation of many complex design modifications to the Central Utility Plant without falling a single day behind schedule was particularly impressive. I look forward to the possibility of working on future projects with them."

Clifton L. Spence, III

Senior Project Manager, Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons, Washington, DC

"We chose Elevatus for our team on The Northeast Indiana Regional Public Safety Academy because of their extensive national experience in public safety, green, and educational facility design. Their role was critical in creating a building that was highly functional, energy-efficient, and striking in appearance. Elevatus receives my highest recommendation.”

Graham Richard

Mayor, 2000-2007, Fort Wayne, Indiana

"My experience with Elevatus has been excellent. I actively worked with them during the planning stages of rehabilitating an existing structure into a work release center, constructing a new jail facility, and expanding our existing Justice Building. They were always willing to listen to concerns and were sensitive to the county’s conservative spending sensitivity to the county’s conservative fiscal spending."

Ronald J. Robinson

County Commissioner, Kosciusko County, Warsaw, Indiana
