The architects at Elevatus, formerly SchenkelShultz Fort Wayne, worked with Indiana Tech to create a much needed practice space for the school’s varsity athletics. To ensure that this 19,201 sf, multi-purpose facility would serve as envisioned, it was designed to include locker rooms for indoor and outdoor sports, concessions, a trainer’s room, office space for the field athletics department, coaches, and assistant coaches, a multiple-use gymnasium–for basketball, volleyball, and wrestling, and equipment storage for each sport.
"Elevatus not only understands the higher education market place, they understand our university needs comprehensively. They are able to convert learning modalities and educational pedagogies into physical, durable locations within our buildings that serve faculties and students in an excellent fashion.”
Arthur E. Snyder, Ed.D.
President, Indiana Tech
