Bringing Design to Life
In architectural terms, there are no set design standards for classrooms dedicated to STEM or STEAM programs. One can integrate the teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) or Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) in pretty much any traditional classroom. That said, these programs truly come alive for students in spaces designed for 21st century education. These spaces are laid out for close teacher-student and student-student collaboration and equipped with the latest technology. We’re Fort Wayne architects with national experience in designing for both tradition and innovation. Many educators still prefer the traditional classroom design. We happily oblige them. But for years now we’ve specialized in 21st century education design, and more educators–especially those adopting STEM or STEAM programs–are engaging us to provide it.
