Captain Kimberly Hampton Primary School – USACE Partnering with Brasfield&Gorrie Contractors, and working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers–Savannah District, the architects of Elevatus Architecture created a new elementary school for the military families of Fort Bragg.
New High School Concept Currently in the development and fundraising phase, this school will be the first of its kind to be built in the Fort Wayne area – a 21st century learning environment designed to foster physical, spiritual, and emotional as well as academic growth.
Indiana Tech Academic Center This Academic Center – the first new academic building needed on the Ivy Tech campus since the 1960’s – offers 21st century amenities in non-traditional classroom, collaborative, and technological spaces.
Indiana Tech Law School This law school is designed as an experiential learning environment that draws upon the knowledge of the past and future technology to provide a superior education for the 21st century student.
Rhinehart Music Center - IPFW This extraordinary facility, located near the existing Fine Arts Building and Williams Theater on the Indiana University – Purdue University campus, incorporates the distinguishing aesthetic characteristics of those buildings so it blends contextually with them and complements the overall look of the campus’s northern end.
Clay County Jail This state-of-the-art facility incorporates the newest technology and latest trends in Justice design.
United States Penitentiary Terre Haute A maximum-security facility, this is the first federal prison to incorporate a four-story special housing/special confinement unit to hold disciplinary, death row, and administrative segregation inmates.
Porter County Jail The design team at Elevatus architecture developed an original and staff-efficient design concept for this jail, which is equipped with the latest technology in video/audio visitation.
Public Safety Academy of Northeast Indiana Included in this project was the relocation of the state certified and recognized Fire and Police Academies, the newly formed Fort Wayne Area Public Safety Foundation, and training programs for other frontline emergency services as well as anti-terrorism and business personnel.
Wayne County Jail It was important to the commissioners that the design of the facility relate to the rich architectural detail of downtown Richmond. Throughout the design process, the team at Elevatus met with county commissioners, city council members, and several other interest groups to identify a design that was acceptable to all stakeholders.
Citizens Square The City of Fort Wayne and Allen County Government required additional space to accommodate the growing needs of their various departments. Significant renovations upgraded the existing government building, transforming it into a state-of-the-art office complex that encompasses public spaces, collaborative zones, and secure areas.
Ascension Lutheran Church and School With attendance growing at both church and school, Ascension Lutheran called upon the design team at Elevatus Architecture to guide them through the process of remodeling their existing school and adding a new sanctuary onto the church.
Harrison Square Parking Deck A downtown development anchored by Parkview Field, Harrison Square is home to the minor league Fort Wayne TinCaps baseball team. It includes a ball park, a parking garage with a conference center, a hotel and restaurant, and a condominium and retail building, all of which surround a downtown public park with an amphitheater and water feature.
GE/The Medical Protective Company Headquarters To ease its growing pains and allow for future expansion, this 100-year-old medical liability and malpractice insurance company sought to partner with the design team at Elevatus Architecture for new corporate headquarters. The result is this award-winning campus.
St. John Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church This church was relocated from downtown Fort Wayne to a new, undeveloped 4-acre site. The design team at Elevatus Architecture developed a master plan which called for designing the site in cruciform with a circular drive showcasing the new sanctuary and fellowship buildings.
Tower Bank It was intended that this facility be a modified version of a branch prototype the design team at Elevatus Architecture developed for the bank’s outlying locations. After assessing the region and its growth potential, bank officials decided to make this facility a financial hub for Kosciusko County.
Meijer Superstore Remodels SchenkelShultz [now dba Elevatus Architecture] was selected to provide A/E design services for remodeling Meijer superstores in Battle Creek, Coldwater, and Portage, Michigan.
Caswell Center Addition/Renovation – HHS The Fort Wayne architects at Elevatus [formerly SchenkelShultz Architecture Fort Wayne] did a complete building systems upgrade to Byrum Hall, Johnson Hall, and Kendall Hall as part of the Caswell Center Renovation project.
Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Parkview Hospital The Fort Wayne architects at Elevatus [formerly SchenkelShultz Architecture Fort Wayne] designed the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Parkview Hospital, making it one of only 25 such havens in the world and the only one with four sleeping rooms.
Central Prison Regional Medical Center The Fort Wayne architects of Elevatus, formerly SchenkelShultz Architecture Fort Wayne, were engaged by the North Carolina Department of Correction to design a new Regional Medical Center for its Central Prison.
Central Prison Mental Health Facility The architects at Elevatus, formerly SchenkelShultz Architecture Fort Wayne, designed both this facility and the North Carolina Central Prison Regional Medical Center connected to it on the same property.
Blumenthal Performing Arts Center When it debuted in 1992, this world-class facility designed by the architects at Elevatus, formerly SchenkelShultz Architecture Fort Wayne, represented the state of the art in performing arts center design.
Spirit Square Center for the Arts This facility has served not only as Charlotte’s headquarters for the performing and visual arts but also as a critical component in the revitalization of the city’s Uptown area. The Spirit Square organization commissioned SchenkelShultz Fort Wayne, now Elevatus Architecture, to renovate and expand the existing facilities.
Indiana Tech Warrior Athletic Center The architects at Elevatus, formerly SchenkelShultz Fort Wayne, worked with Indiana Tech to create a much needed practice space for the school’s varsity athletics.
Aero Center Executive Terminal at FW Int’l Airport This was a project that had SchenkelShultz, now Elevatus Architecture, working with Design-Builder, The Hagerman Group. An FBO facility, it replaces what was a 40-year-old landlocked structure that had become an impediment to the future growth of the Fort Wayne International Commercial Terminal.
Col. H. Weir Cook Terminal, Indianapolis Int’l Airport To design this facility, one of the first terminals to be constructed after 9/11, the Fort Wayne architects of SchenkelShultz, now Elevatus Architecture, worked as part of AeroDesign Group, a multi-firm joint venture, and served in collaboration with HOK, the Design Architect
Signature Flight Support Executive Terminal, Indianapolis Int’l Airport The distinctive “wing” roof that seems to float over this building not only gives it an iconic identity but also allows natural lighting to flood through the clerestory glass and provides covered drop-off for land-side arrivals.
