Partnering with Brasfield&Gorrie Contractors, and working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers–Savannah District, the architects of Elevatus Architecture created a new elementary school for the military families of Fort Bragg.
Currently in the development and fundraising phase, this school will be the first of its kind to be built in the Fort Wayne area – a 21st century learning environment designed to foster physical, spiritual, and emotional as well as academic growth.

Included in this project was the relocation of the state certified and recognized Fire and Police Academies, the newly formed Fort Wayne Area Public Safety Foundation, and training programs for other frontline emergency services as well as anti-terrorism and business personnel.

Fort Wayne Community Schools hired the Elevatus Team to design a phased renovation of Jefferson Middle School, originally constructed in 1967. Special design attributes include a relocated administrative suite to allow for better visibility of the entry and enhanced security aspects, a new “collaboratory” suite for active/project-based learning and technology center and re-purposed media center and classrooms to meet the needs of today’s students.
As a 4th consecutive project for the Indiana Tech campus, Elevatus Architecture fast-tracked this project, but left no detail forgotten. This innovative and collaborative space will enhance the student experience in entrepreneurial and corporate learning.
